Spectacular Sagada

Welcome to Sagada! So remember our trip to Atok, now it’s Sagada time!

It’s my first time in Sagada and we went straight here from Atok. It was a long drive and on the way, it was like a drive in the forest because there were mountain trees, mountain rocks and lots of plants.

After we booked our hotel, we went to a gift shop to buy some gifts and we also bought lemon pie and souvenirs. And about the lemon pie, it was delicious.

The delicious lemon pie!

Yes, I know my blog looks boring but watch out because we’re taking action.

The next day we went to Bomod-ok falls and it was a long walk. Along the way, we ate some snacks. The snack is totally amazing and there were two choices, savory lumpia, and sweet lumpia. Lumpia or turon is a type of snack here in the Philippines. It is a traditional food and my favorite too.

And at last, we reached the falls. And believe me, the view is spectacular and you would feel like you’re on a rocky beach though there are some silly dirty things on the other side of the falls but it still is nice here. And the water was so cold too. I went swimming in the shallow part but my cousin went to the deeper part of the falls. But before that, I was with my cousin and SPLASH! we fell into the falls because we were not paying attention and we got wet so we swam instead.

Our next stop was Salt and Pepper diner and because we all got hungry after our adventure in the Bomod-ok falls. I ordered pasta and I have to tell you it was spectacular while the others didn’t like their food because the rice wasn’t cooked properly.

Then we went to see the hanging coffins and of course, we saw some coffins hanging on the rocks but the most interesting part is the story about the hanging coffins. We learned about the people who died centuries ago and why they hang the coffins. My Auntie keeps asking questions and it was about to rain and we got wet in the rain all because of lots of questions. And since it’s raining we decided to go home.

Oh well, I hope you like my big adventure from Atok to Sagada. I’ll be back there for sure because I had fun and there are still lots of spectacular places to see. That’s all for now. And I also have another cool fun story to tell, it’s coming out soon. The name of the story is a library mystery and like I said it’s fun scary epic story! All right then I need to end my blog now so bye bye!
