The Cats on the Farm

On an old farm a long time ago lived two cats named Cathy and Kathy. They live alone with their mother since the old farmer doesn’t work there anymore. Although they’re the only ones there, their mother always tells them not to wander off even if they really want too.

   One day they disobeyed their mother and went to wander off with no qualms and when they were almost hit by a car, the two kittens finally got the point. Now they want to go home, just then they saw a tractor and they thought it was going to the farm so they just rode it without a second thought.

   Soon they realized that it was going to a school rather than the farm but it was too late, the tractor had already reached the school so the two kittens tried to think of a plan but all they can think of is food since they were so hungry. “I think there is food in the school”, said Cathy. “Don’t be silly Cathy, there is no food in the school”, said Kathy. 

Kathy

   But they had no other choice but to go inside instead. When they saw the cafeteria door, it was completely ajar and they just went in smelling the yummy food and hearing the sound of munching and crunching, this makes the two kittens very hungry.

   A girl named Sammy saw the two poor kittens looking for food then the two kittens went straight to Sammy begging for food. Sammy already knew what to do. She gave them some food. The kittens became happier when the girl gave them food. Then the bell rang reminding them that it was time to go home. The two kittens followed Sammy home and when they saw the house guard dog looking like a severe brute they clutched on to Sammy tightly. The kittens reached the dining table and ate the leftover donuts. This made Sammy and the two kittens happy.

   Sammy loved Cathy and Kathy so much that she wants to get another kitten since she thinks she has insufficient kittens so she wants more but two is just perfect for her. She loved to feed the kittens, play with them, put them to bed and of course bringing them to school. And sometimes on Sundays, if the weather is sunny she would take the kittens to the park to have a picnic, a walk or to play. She loved them more than anything. 

Cathy

   One day the cat’s mother found out that the two naughty kittens escaped from the farm, she was so worried that she called the whole cat family and her animal friends to help find her kids. It was a perilous journey to find Cathy and Kathy until they got to the right location of Sammy’s house. The kittens were surprised to see their mother and everyone else in the backyard. “Oh, my poor kittens who obtained so many threateningly obstacles. Oh please come back home.” said their mother. “But we don’t want to mother, we like it here,” said Cathy and Kathy. Sammy began to sob but the two kittens had to go so they were dragged out of the house and back to the farm.

   Back at the farm, everyone was so glad except Cathy and Kathy, they were so sad that they did not eat their favorite meal. They did not want to play with the other kittens and they did not feel like playing but everyone was too happy to care. 

   Then their mother found out that they are too sad so she thought of a plan to cheer them up. “Listen up everyone I would like to set up a party dedicated to Cathy and Kathy and we need just one element to cheer them up which is… can you guess what it is?” 

   “Oh Oh!” a cat from the audience exclaims. “Strawberries!” he says. “A  mud bath?” a pig from the audience exclaims. “A nap!” a goat from the audience exclaims. 

   Everybody was exclaiming so loudly until the cat’s mother shouted silence. “Don’t you understand? The only thing is Sammy!” “Then let’s go get her and prepare the party!” The whole audience exclaims. 

   When the party was prepared Cathy and Kathy did not know that Sammy was there. “SURPRISE!” everybody shouted. “Here’s the main present!” the cat’s mother said.  When the two kittens opened the present they were shocked to see Sammy. “SAMMY!”, the two kittens exclaim. “We thought we were never going to see you again!” “And that’s not all”, said the kitten’s mother. “She is going to be the new owner of the Farm!” 

   And so from now on Sammy became the owner of the farm and the two kittens became happy and the farm has a neverending party. The End.

Emily And The Case Of The Disappearing City.

   Once there was a detective whose name is Emily and she is the best detective yet. Now one day she and her family went to a city for a vacation. It was time to relax but when they get to their location, there was no city! For a moment Emily thought that this was the wrong location but when she looked at the map it was the right one. And so she thought this was another mystery.

   “Are we lost?” asked Emily ’s big sister, she was the laziest of them all. Emily’s sister is always complaining and doesn’t help at all. “It should be here! It should be here!” Emily’s father said. “Oh, great we’re lost!” Emily’s mother said. Everyone except Emily was complaining in the car until Emily’s father said that it is getting late so it was time for them to go home.

   Emily could not believe that the trip was futile. And since it was a holiday, their mother said that they will have their vacation in another city so they went to the nearest city and found a hotel. They were so tired so they went to sleep except for Emily. She was still thinking about the city and a few hours later she left the hotel and drove her invisible car. This car is so magical that if you touch it you will be invisible too.

   When she got to the city there were dead trees, weird people, and haunted mansions. She got curious hence she went into the mansion and she saw a big cobra!  It was trying to squeeze her tight but Emily tried to free herself it but it was too late the snake trapped Emily so tight. Then the cobra’s tail accidentally bumped the sleeping spell which was lying on a desk near the snake that made the cobra and Emily very sleepy. She tried to stay awake and then the witch who lives there brought her to a scary bedroom and the witch locked her up. Then she realized that the mansion, the sleeping spell, and the snake were owned by the witch. It looks like Emily is refraining from being sleepy then she saw an open window so she jumped out. She asked the weird people outside but they don’t talk at all although they were in great abundance. She bumped into an old lady who welcomed her into her house as she told her a story about why the city became haunted.

   Then it was time to go home so Emily said goodbye and drove back in her invisible car and waved to the old lady who quickly waved back. Off she went as she passed the crevice of entrust thinking thoughtfully about the city. It stands for a reason that it was, first of all, a beautiful city until an earthquake destroyed and it killed so many people that it became a haunted city. When she went back to the hotel, her family was just waking up to go out for breakfast. They didn’t know that Emily went out and solved the mystery of the vanishing city. The End.

The Truth About Dinosaurs

   Millions of years ago, dinosaurs ruled the Earth. The time when dinosaurs dominated the Earth is called the Mesozoic era. That was the time before humans lived although not all dinosaurs lived in one period alone. They were born in different periods. The first period is the Triassic period, this was where the Herrerasaurus reigns. The next period is called the Jurrasic period. This was the time where Stegasaurus appeared. On the Cretaceous period, the king of the dinosaurs, T Rex was born and this was the end of the line.

   The dinosaurs are extinct but some of their descendants are still around and this is in the form of birds. Paleontologists have discovered that dinosaurs evolved into birds like cockatoos and hummingbirds. We know why because birds lay eggs like dinosaurs and they have scaly feet although some characteristics of dinosaurs are not copied by birds like how they grate their food with their teeth and how they roar.

Velociraptor

   Dinosaurs are depicted in films but of course, they are not always true. I mean, dinosaurs didn’t live in the same period. The T Rex didn’t interact with the Mastodon which is a wooly mammoth. Humans and dinosaurs have a different period too. The movies about the dinosaurs have some truth in them too.

Supersaurus

   Today, even if we don’t see dinosaurs like a giant reptile, we can still see their fossils. Fossils are the bones of the dinosaurs that turned into stones. When a giant meteorite crashed down the Earth, clouds blocked the sun for months and this was a devastation for the dinosaurs. But small animals survived this pandemonium but most plants died and this was the time when dinosaurs disappeared. Today, paleontologists are digging evenly to uncover fossils. There is always a dinosaur fossil waiting to be uncovered. So loathe them or love them, dinosaurs are the best!

Mimi's Drawing

It’s storytime again and this time around it’s about a cute little girl who loves to draw and a teddy bear who magically appeared. I hope you like it. Mimi’s Drawing A girl named Mimi was a magnificent artist! She once won a drawing contest and received a package full of toys, isn’t that awesome?

The Teddy Bear

One day she wanted to draw again and this time she drew a teddy bear with brown fuzzy fur, cute little eyes, a mouth full of joy and a sniffly little nose, isn’t that cute? Then it was time for lunch so Mimi went down to eat but then her drawing, the teddy bear started to come out of the picture. Then the teddy bear heard footsteps and he doesn’t know who it is but it was just Mimi walking into her bedroom. She went inside her room and saw what happened, she shrieked in fright but the teddy bear said, “stop! I will pay you a compliment for making me.” “Alright then”, Mimi said, this time she was noble and brave. “And what is the compliment? asked Mimi. “What do you like to do?”, the teddy bear asked. “Well I like to go to the Run Around Amusement Park,” said Mimi. “Then that’s where I will treat you.” the teddy bear said. “But how?” said Mimi. “Don’t worry I will draw some money.” said the teddy bear. “You can draw too, that’s great!” Mimi said. “Teddy bear you must be very hungry, let’s go have lunch first,” said Mimi.

The Monster

After lunch, Mimi felt like drawing again and this time it was a monster and when the monster came out in a flash, it chases Mimi! But Mimi knew how to outrun the monster so she didn’t move a muscle and she started to crumble the drawing and gradually the monster disappeared. “I think it’s time to stop drawing,” Mimi said. The teddy bear overheard that and said to Mimi, “no don’t desert your drawings, I love them.” “You do?” asked Mimi. “Of course!” said the teddy bear. “Well I do love drawing,” said Mimi. “And it is also my passion so I guess I shall continue my dream,” said Mimi. So from then on, Mimi continued to draw but this time she drew cute little things. The End.

The Spooky Cave

It all started in a dark and spooky night, I was at home reading about cougars and I said, “how beautiful they are! I wish I could see one myself! Oh, but these big cats are hard to find. I wish I can see one.” Then I went downstairs and asked my mother if we can go out into the woods to see a cougar since I’ve always wanted to see one. My mother said, “not now darling, I’m busy.” So I went back to my room feeling miserable that we can’t see a cougar so I went back to reading. A few minutes later the phone rang. And on the phone was my friend and he said, “I really want to see a cougar in the wild too!”. “Well, my friend we both live near the woods so why don’t we sneak up when our parents are sleeping!” I said. “That’s great! I will get some of my toy weapons in case there’s a monster”, he replied back. “Of course there are no monsters in the woods!” I said. That’s when I put the phone down and waited until my parents are asleep. After few minutes I heard them snoring and I knew they were asleep so I sneaked out of the house and meet my friend.

The Monster

And believe it or not! My friend did get those weapons but they are made of plastic. “That’s not going to work,” I said. Anyway, after that, my friend and I walk to the woods when all of a sudden we saw a cave. “Look! a cave let’s go inside”, I said. “I’m too scared to go!”, my friend said. “Alright then I’ll direct you to stand guard here”, I said. So while my friend was guarding the cave I went in all by myself. It was so dark in the cave when all of a sudden I bumped into something big and hairy strong, fierce big wings and sharp teeth and big claws and big jaws. It was a monster! So I shrieked with fright and ran as fast as I could. I had to outrun the monster and so I shouted “help! help! somebody please help!” And guess what! My friend outside helped me and he said “you bad monster! Stop chasing my friend!”. The monster was ravenously hungry but my friend defeated the monster and subdued it. I didn’t expect that the toys will come in handy because it helps defeat the monster. Oh well, after that I heard a big bang and then rocks came falling down the cave. “Quick, run its about to collapse!” I said. So my friend and I ran out of the cave and from then on we never walk into the woods again and learned our lessons to always obey our parents. THE END.

THE BOOK

The Book

In the corner of my bedroom is a book that was never touched and was never read.
Since I’m not reading it, it’s getting old and dusty so I started reading it. On the first
page, it said, a girl was envious about the book, unfortunately, she tried to steal the
book and gradually she turned into a mist. The name of the girl was Samantha,
a girl standing right next to you.

The Ghost

And believe it or not! The girl from the book appeared right next to me and of course, I took fright at the apparition and then I called, Mama! Mama! Mama come rushing up the stairs to see what’s going on and gradually the apparition was fading and when Mama came into my room she didn’t see a thing. Anyway, I asked my mom to sleep with me tonight so the thing that I saw won’t bother me.

The Dream

But guess what! the next day there was no sign of my mother only the apparition and so then I called. Papa! Papa! Papa came into my room but the girl disappeared again so I told my Papa if I can sleep in his room. I slept peacefully that night but when I woke some things changed. First, my Mama disappeared and now my Papa. I took fright and thought that the apparition will chase me so I ran into a room full of ghosts and even worse the door was locked so then I cried for help. Help! Help! and I woke up wondering if that was a dream. And gradually I realized it was a dream after all but when Mama came into my room I was not pleased. She struts around my room and then she said this is my most favorite book and told me “I know you love books so I thought you will love it and read it all over again”. Well, I didn’t really like her surprise so I just put it on the shelves hoping someone would not read it. The End.

A Mystery in the Library

It is storytime! The title is A Library Mystery, ok so I hope you're ready because this is going to be a mysterious and scary story.

A LIBRARY MYSTERY

I was in the library looking for books when all of the sudden books came falling down in aisle three so I went to see what was going on.

Floating books at aisle 3!

Miss Nada was there too looking quite surprised as all of the books were floating in mid-air. I asked what happened here, Miss Nada? But miss Nada flatly refuse to answer me and five minutes later she disappeared. I sorrowfully will miss Miss Nada but for now, I have a plight to investigate.

I saw a weird looking man with a wand and he makes all the books float in aisle eight and believe me I knew he was the thief. So I subdued the man, got his wand and tied him in a chair. Now tell me where miss Nada is! I shouted to the man. Miss Nada the librarian? the man said . Yes! That’s her! I said. Oh oh! cried the man. I must have accidentally used the disappearing spell! Here give me the wand I will try my best to bring Miss Nada back. I helped the man untie his hand and likkity spliit! Miss Nada was back. Miss Nada! I cried. I missed you! Um sorry about what I did, it was an accident, said the man. I was practicing my floating act when I accidentally used the vanishing spell. Well, said Miss Nada, it was certainly an accident so we will have to let you go you and you may practice here but clean up after you practice.

So from then on we now call this library the magical library.
