Hilda Comics Review

I met Hilda in Netflix. I got hooked right away and finished the whole season in just a couple of days. I can't wait for season 2 even if it's still far from 2020, I’m hoping that it will be worth the wait. Hilda is also known as Hildafolk and the author and illustrator is Luke Pearson. Hilda's setting is a magical world where their house is surrounded by the enchanted forest. You can find interesting characters like a troll, giants, elves and a lot more. It is fascinating enough for me because of the intriguing story and the adventures of Hilda and her friends. As much as I love Hilda, my sister Hana likes it too. She just turned four and she already likes Hilda too or maybe colorful books instead. These books that my dad bought are graphic ones. Hana even insisted to add her name on the first page where you can see who the owner of the book is. Such a cute toddler, but sometimes there are times when I don't feel like playing with her because she insists on what she wants. Oh well, my mom said she's still young and try to understand and teach her the good ways. I'm the older one so I think I really have to show her how to play properly. For sure when you watch it on Netflix, you'll love it too as much as I did. You might want to own her books too, these my dad bought on sale at Amazon. I actually wanted the novel, not the graphics one but it was not on sale and my dad couldn’t find it on Amazon, so he just bought the comics instead. It’s still also a good one and it's still from Hilda. The story though is way different from the Netflix show. In the comics Hilda camps outside the house but in the show, Hilda did not. The story is still good and very unpredictable so I think you should read or watch since the series is good too even if it's different as compared to the books.
