Leather Journal Note | UNBOXING

My mom gave me this leather journal as a present and I thought I could unbox it and I did. This is how the video looks like. I hope you like it.

This classic looking and an artsy journal is perfect for my sketching, I can bring it anywhere I go. I can also use it as a diary. I will show you what comes out of it like some of my sketches but not my personal information that I’ll write on my journal or diary. Maybe I can give you a look but not everything because it’s a secret.

This leather is so cute that I’m thinking of giving one to my friend and I know she will like it. Now I know what to give on Christmas day. The design looks so pretty with all those butterflies with a princess on the front cover. I also like how small it is because it can fit perfectly on my bag.

It’s nice to have a new book to draw in since my old sketchbook is full, good thing I have this one now. If I don’t have this, I’ll end up drawing on loose papers instead. If I’ll have a chance to buy whatever I want in Amazon it would be this journal. This journal even looks better than my old one! My old note has a glittery cover with some papers inside and I made some doodles on the cover. I like my old ones but I like this even better. I just hope this new note won’t run out of paper, because if it does, I will go CRAZY for more papers. My mom said we can order the paper or maybe I can cut some clean paper and fit it in there.

I can’t wait to sketch! Hold on, I guess I’m going to start now, so I think I’ll have to end writing this review now. Thanks for reading my blog and viewing my video, please leave a thumbs up, like, maybe comment and subscribe as well.

Song: The Bodies of Water

Lyrics

We are the bodies of water.
Watch us go up or down.
We are the bodies of water.
Watch us go up or down.

I,m the biggest body
I'm the ocean. (repeat)
I'm the body who flows and never stops
I'm a river. (repeat)
I'm a body with fishponds
I'm a lake. (repeat)
I'm also home to fish
I'm a pond. (repeat)
I'm a body who flows over a cliff.
I'm a waterfall. (repeat)

We are the bodies of water.
Watch us go up or down.
We are the bodies of water.

Watch us go up or down.

Pennyroyal Academy Book Review

I just read Pennyroyal Academy and I can’t wait to read another book. Anyway here is my book report.

Pennyroyal Academy by MA Larson

There was once a girl lost in the woods who wears spiderwebs for clothes. She doesn’t know her name or why she is there in the treacherous forest. As she explores the dangerous forest she heard some weird noises then she saw a light shimmering out of the forest so she ran to the light as fast as her feet could take her. Then she arrived at a little cottage where she got trapped by a witch but then she was safely saved by a boy named Remington who enlists to Pennyroyal Academy to become a knight. Since the girl has nowhere to go she enlists at Pennyroyal Academy too. So she joined Remington on a harrowing adventure where they have to pass some dangerous places. After that harrowing adventure, they arrived at Pennyroyal Academy where princesses and knights battle witches and dragons. There she was given the name Evie and as she explores and learns how to be a princess, she surprisingly learns about her family, friends, and enemies and also about herself. And when the witches creep closer Evie learned what it truly means to be a princess. I learned that you should be strong and brave. Do not be scared because you are stronger and braver than you think. So if you think you are strong and brave enough, enlist to Pennyroyal Academy to become tomorrow's princesses and knights!

Wish Book Review

I've just read Wish written by Barbara O’Connor. This story is not real, it’s fiction and the story began in Colby, North Carolina and the main character is Charlie Reese. Heres the summary:

Wish by Barbara O'Connor

Charlie Reese is a girl who lives with a broken family. Her family does not care about her. Its because her mom and dad are always fighting and every time they fight, a swear word would come out of their mouths. Her dad always fights so much that people called him scrappy and in fact, he is now in jail because of his fondness of fighting. Despite this, she has been making the same wish since fourth grade. Since Charlie has an unstable family she was sent to live with her aunt Bertha and uncle Gus although she doesn't really know them. She hated the place and things and all and when she went to school everything seems to get even worse. Kids laugh at her, and Audrey Mitchell, a girl from class, shoved and kicked her. That is until she meets wishbone, a skinny brown and black stray dog who loves her so much and Howard a surprising up and down boy who became a true friend to Charlie. Soon Charlie gets in trouble and when she discovers her wish, it turned out that it is not what she needs after all. Soon she also finds her auntie and uncle caring and loving. But with the help of her loving aunt and uncle, a true friend and the dog of her life, she discovers what a true family is. In the story, I've learned what a true family is and just like Charlie with the help of her new family and friend, she learned what a family truly is. A family should be caring about each other and not fighting. Definitely no exchanging of swear words.

A Long Walk To Water Book Review

The title of the book is A Long Walk To Water and the author is Linda Sue Park. And did you know that the book is based from a true story? This is a story about two characters Salva and Nya and they live in one country Africa Sudan. Although they live in the same country their stories didn't happen at the same time. Nya's story started in 2008 while Salva's was in 1985. Now I will summarize the stories of Nya and Salva below.

A Long Walk to Water

THE STORY OF NYA.

Nya, a girl from Sudan travels from home to pond on foot, she collects water for herself and for her family. She walks eight hours a day. Nya lives in a village although they don’t stay there too often. Nya's tribe, the Nuer often fought with Dinka tribe and old and young people died so they moved to a camp near a big lake. What Nya liked about the camp was she doesn't need to walk for water, she just needs to dig for water but her mother hated the camp. They slept in a makeshift tent and Nya's father and brother need to go hunting and Nya's mother was afraid that they might run into Dinka's tribesmen and get hurt. Soon Nya's little sister Akeer got sick because of the water because it was brown and muddy. Soon they got back and Akeer got better then a Dinka man wanted to build a well. Nya was wondering why would a Dinka bring water to them. But it turns out that the man helping them is Salva, now fully grown.

THE STORY OF SALVA.

Salva a boy from Sudan was at school listening to the teacher he was lucky to go to school until there was a gunfire nearby. Salva ran into some bushes, running away home. After so many years Salva had overcome the difficulty and had walked more than a mile. When he grew up he thought about helping Sudan and soon these thoughts became reality and he had helped his tribe the Dinka and also the Nuer. He did not quit and by his perseverance, Salva reached his goal.

I soon learned in the book to never quit and not to give up because as soon as you try and try again you will eventually reach your goal.
